I'd like to have a sheet metal dash for my 88TC. Two questions, does anyone know the differences between the thunderbird and fox body dashes? From some searching I've done, it seems the Fox Body dash is more narrow than the thunderbird but can work. There are a few companies who make sheet metal dashes that are very nice. Would be nice to use one even if it required some minor modifications.
What is the reason for the sheet metal dash? Less clutter/weight or just like the look?
Just curious.

All of the above actually. I really like the look and I want to get rid of the clutter. Eventually I will redo the chassis harness as the only thing I use is the power windows (Corbeau seats on slides, no AC, etc.). I'd also like to run an ignition switch panel. Like the look and simplicity of it
