Vaccum pump install help - Big R - 06-26-2005

Because of my lopy cam, I only have 10lbs of vaccum at idle, so I am going to install a vaccum pump for my brakes. Is there anyone who has done this and can provide me with install help. Thanks

Many cars have some kind of "tank" that is just connected to your vac tree. Most Fords I have ever had, had one that was a sphere. Xr's have one that I think is more to help out hte HVAC systems vac opperated doors.

Are you actually having a problem with the brakes? I forget what you drive, you may just need a check valve in the line to the brake booster if your car was originally naturally asperated.
