If you want to go V8, I'd go with a coyote and call it a day. Very cool car no matter what you do. But you're forgetting the most important part. The interior must be done in full shag! :)

Are you sure it's a belt and not a chain? What size engine? I replaced the belt on my wife's '03. It took some time but wasn't difficult. Repair manual is a must.
