My 2.3 didn't really rev fast, but the speedo needle moved pretty good. ;) You should have seen it with the 85mph speedo. 0 to pegged in about 8 seconds.

So far, the trip meter says it has averaged 21mpg since we got it home, and that's mostly city rush hour traffic.
I drove a 1.6 ecoboost escape on a highway trip (80mph) and it got a pathetic 20mpg. ...

Seems like a lot of peop...

As many of you know, I sold/parted out my ol' 88 mustang. I pulled the drivetrain and parted most of it out (still have a few parts left). The rolling chassis went to a gentleman who was planning to...

LOL, I didn't expect to see you spraying. It is VERY effective. My 2.3 went from 13.0s boost only to running 12.2's on a 35 shot. :D She gained 5-6mph on that little 35 shot.

I am not sure if they are based on the same compressors or not, but I have run a T28 on my 2.3 before. It spooled pretty quick and made for a very fun street car. Torque came on hard and fast, espec...

I could never go faster than 12.2s in my mustang with a T3. It was probably around 3000lbs with driver.

I am trying to sell my 88 mustang as a rolling chassis on CL now. I had several people ask if my $550 rolling chassis runs and drives. :pat:
