I just got a HY35w for my XR4Ti project, I have to clock the housing to make it work correctly but it has small mounting dowells between the housings and the center section (one small dowell per housing, REALLY small, less than 1/8"). Can I remove these dowells and clock the turbo as needed? Will this hurt anything?
Thanks!
Rob
I did, didn't cause any problems.
I think that was just a nice little thing they did for the dodge guys to ease installation.

mine was clocked on my 5.0 turbo. they just put those pins in cause its for a factory setup.
Just wondering...where did anyone find snap ring pliers so they could clock the compressor housing?
I've been having troubl finding anything larger than 2"...or is there a different method/tool I can use.
