There were 3 basic variations of the 2.3t EECs. Small and large VAM AND 30 or 36 lb injectors. I believe all of the SVOs had the large VAM, as did the 87/8 TC. The 85.5 and 86 SVOs had 36 lb injectors as well as the 87/8 TC. I believe 83/4 GT turbos, 83-86 TC and Merkurs were small VAM and 30 lb injectors. I don't think anything used a small VAM and 36 lb injectors.
