1986 TC Project

I took the car out for a ride yesterday to check things over. All in all the car ran great as the motor now pulls real clean through the entire RPM range and the brake feel is awesome. Will be working on some weight removal and additional cooling.

It’s been a little while since my las update. Today I removed the T5 transmission by myself. I used a Harbor Freight transmission jack to stabilize the transmission and lower it. In all it went as expected except for a little difficulty removing the upper 2 bolts. I had to put a little heat on them as my electric impact driver did not have enough torque to break them loose. Next I need to pull the bell housing and couch assembly. I am preparing to swap in a V8 clutch set up and Hanlon Motorsport TR3650 transmission.  I am fairly certain that I will run into clearance issues with the down pipe.
