Sooo.....R/U still gonna run an AWIC ~ but, front-mounted instead of it being in the passenger compartment? OR....are you just gonna rely on the latent heat of vaporization from using methanol, w/o an IC (like Joe Laramee, who - AFAIK - only uses a single meth nozzle at the turbo inlet with his blow-thru carb)? I didn't know you were using a dry-sump oiling system (I obviously missed the previous Q&A posts with CaptnSVO23T)! Have you always had it? Finally (whew), what was your best ET with the "former" setup?? SORRY for the "Spanish Inquisition", BUT.....curious minds need to know, lol. <shrug>
Thanks Ray! Progress has been slow as I've been fairly busy with a Non-profit I helped found and run, Battle Scarred Motorsports. The rewards of helping our nations active military, veterans and 1st responders has been much more a priority than the drag car.
I am still going to run an AWIC exactly like you mentioned, up front in between the turbo and fuel cell. The dry sump setup is a new addition to the car as well as the CNP ignition. The former quickest time for the car was some 5.50s....actually disappointing times considering what the car had. We had some 130mph 1/8th mile runs, just needed more 60' work.
