2.3 Timing

        Looking to buy aftermarket timing pointer...

It's an aftermarket timing "tab" that takes the place of the factory version that's integral with the front t/belt cover. It appears to be the same as the one that Stinger sells (or a knockoff thereof). It bolts to the front/lower "seal holder" (aka, timing cover) and is adjustable. There's a groove on yer crank pulley that serves as the "pointer"/reference mark to align with the graduations on that tab for setting cam or ignition timing to a specific value.  <shrug>
