2023 SEMA RS4Ti
#1

Something a friend of mine sent to me.

Merkur XR4Ti Restomod Has An EcoBoost Swap, Looks Like A Modern Sierra RS Cosworth (motor1.com)

There is a 20 minute video if you are interested.

This XR4Ti has a 2.3L Ecoboost crate motor. The front suspension is now based on an old SN95 Mustang suspension (1994-2004) and the rear suspension is from the current Mustang.

The engine is a 2.3L EcoBoost crate engine from Ford Performance. Ford Performance even sells an engine controller to run the engine with direct injection.

This build was supposed to be economical. I don't think this build turned out to be too economical as far as I am concerned.

The new 2.3L Ecoboost engine did not really fit very well into the XR4Ti. I prefer to read about what Turboforders do with the old 2.3L engines that actually fit in to their cars.
