4" Exhaust Tip
#1

Finished up installing a 4" tip on my 3" exhaust on the Turbo Coupe. today. It was a rear exit and now it's a side exit.

Hmmm.........I'm not usually a fan of side-exit exhaust, b/c of the reflected sound when passing other vehicles or stationary objects (walls, bldgs, etc.). How do you like the sound? If BEHIND the tire (difficult to tell by the pic)......did you go over or under the axle-housing tube? <shrug>

BTW ~ Nice rims!! <thumbup>

Hey Ray, It's the Stingers 3" single exhaust system and all I did was remove the last pipe of the system and cut the 90 degree part out and reinstalled it back in the Stinger system that goes over the axle. Used a long 4" exhaust tip with a 3" inlet and exhaust hanger too.

That last pipe really stood out and set low, now it's high and tight and looks good from behind. Yes you can hear the exhaust more but it's not to loud.

The wheel's are old FR500's and the car has been upgraded to 5 lugs. It would look a lot nicer if I clean the car more often LOL.
