88 tbird door lock cylinder, plastic piece available?
#1

Does anyone know a part¬†number for the plastic arm that attaches to the rear of the door lock cylinder and holds the rod that pulls up on the door lock when you turn the key?
Is it even available?
I have seen similar ones, but they usually are for Taurus.
This is for my 88 tbird
Thanks

Should be the same piece in any '83-'88 T-Bird. Not specific to TurboCoupes. Check your local Pick-N-Pull.

Unfortunately, around here, the jy's crush stuff fairly quickly. So the oldest tbird I can find is a 95.
And I'm not sure I want to replace one 30+ yr old piece, with another. I think it would just be too brittle.
I may try the Taurus ones. Didn't sell to be any other option. At least the door code still unlocks the DS door. So I can still drive it
Thanks
