I just wanted to set things straight without cluttering up a tech thread anymore.

Couple guys called and told me you're a little hazy on the details. I don't consider myself an expert on anything but after working on cars for the last 39 years I do have a little experience especially with 2.3's.

This doesn't upset me - I'm just glad to see young guys still getting involved with 2.3 motors. You might do a little less advising and a little more listening though, you'll learn more that way.

If you really think I have a $60,000 chassis I would be glad to sell it to you for that - giving me an easy $58,000 profit! Anyone who's seen my car in person will tell you it ain't much. At best it's a fifty footer unless the hood is up in which case it's a one hundred footer.

And just so Paul doesn't ban me for a non auto related thread let me say: CAMSHAFT! TURBO! WHEELIE!!!!!! Big Grin

In matts defense you don't have many vids to choose from lol.
Your car is way nicer than most at the track. Even if it is the anti-bling stang. If you removed all the extra/unused wires and plumbing from under the hood, you may get under 3000#s

...I had a different reply typed but could find that damn wheelie vid. Thats the one I wanted to post.

and $60,000 had to be an honest typo. Especially since you could buy a pro stock chassis for under $60,000. Dave you over spent bad.
