Thanks Jon Dell. I will go with the AEM. If I inquire about setup of this thing after I get it in my hand would you help me some? I know nothing about this system that is my big downfall. I understand how efi works and direct fire configurations. How many timing curves can you map out with this system? I would like at least 3. Startup, main, retard. Or does this thing interface in some way.

One other thing: My research is showing that AEM doesn't run a crank trigger style ignition. Only has one coil output. Jon Dell could you answer this? How I can run off crank sensor with a wheel?

Joe, If all you want is "Startup, main and retard", you will be easily pleased.

Do lots of reading on the AEM forum.
Download the software and look it over.
Make sure you are ready for such a powerful and complicated adventure.

Crank trigger and muti-coil outputs will not be a problem although it will not be a "bolt-on" or "plug-and-play" installation.

I appreciate the information gentlemen. I have an AEM on the way. I've been studying this stuff for a while and am confident ***for now*** that I have the abilities to make it work. This AEM stuff sure opens up a plethora of possibilities.

thanks, I'm sure there will be questions to come.
