I do believe Heath is going to look into making the merkur motor mounts and perhaps maybe the transmission mounts if there's a demand for those as well..

So I was thinking a set of Chuck W motor mounts would be awesome for my T5 conversion in my XR, as they are slotted to allow fore and aft relocation of the engine/trans. However it appears that he has stopped making them. Anybody know who makes a similar product now? If I can finish my T5 install without cutting the floor pan, that would be slick. I'll probably buy a shifter first, and see if that clears things better than the stock T5 stock stuff(probably won't).

I'm so glad I just saw this. I was trying to figure out how NOT to have to use crappy parts store mounts. I just ordered a set for a Fox Body!

I'll nudge Heath again here soon - he's the fabricator that makes the parts.

Interesting if they'd make the mounts for an XR...My guess is that since there are so few of us who would really want them, it's not worth it to make.

if there's a decent market for them, we'll likely make them.  Chuck W even sent us a set of stock mounts to use for mock-up...

we've just been very busy with our tbird/cougar/2.3 mustang stuff at the moment.

This is way later, but it seems like these would sell. I am not sure what kind of market you'd have to have for them, or how many sets would make it worth it. They'd sell though for sure, I found a set of them for my XR, people were fighting over them like carp trying to get the bread crumbs.

Andrew / Heath- Not to high jack the tread but I would be interesting in some Merkur stuff if you start doing those.  I would also be interesting in a (2)sets of Subframe connectors for the Merkur XR4TI . These subframe connectors were made a while back by David Godfrey but no one seem to have the schematics, a set or connectors,  or where I can find the schematics .

the problem is, not having a local car to test them on in NW Wisconsin where Heath lives. several times now, we have sent out prototypes or early builds to people for feedback and received 0 information back on fitment, quality, any issues that need to be fixed, etc..

Well, if you send me a set I will certainly follow up with the deal. 
I've got a set of Chucks mounts that will be going on my car when the engine goes back in it soon. 
If you guys are willing to make a set to test, I'll put them in a provide as much information as I possibly can that you require.
