Dual plug motor goes 11.0 @ 128
#1

Almost was able to click off the tens check box. Car went 11.027@128.  1.52 60s on full slicks leaving @ 5k This was on about 33psi tapering off to 29.

1988 Notch in full handling "road race" trim. IE stiff springs, front sway bar attached, PHB, TA
2.5 built E8 bottom end.
Bo stage 1 early Dual spark plug head (Runners are factory cast) w/ Bo 2.1 or 2.5 cam
Stock Dual plug intake w/ stock 50mm TB
EFR 7163 turbo mated to a Bo custom 1.25 El header with T25 Flange
PimpXS using sequential Fuel and 1600cc inj
treadstone FMIC
Tremec TKX 5 Speed

and all the stuff to fill in the blanks. I had the custom sheetmetal intake on but wanted to make a few more passes this year so put the stock one back on. Def lost about 1000 rpms of power with the stock intake

going back to the track in a few weeks with the boost control working better and more accurate shifts (had no tack or shift lite)

only vids we got were of me bogging or spinning. sucks going to the track solo most the time so nothing to show off. ill def setup go pro next time. everything was 100% throttle flat shifts and this trans is a dream. Need to get flat shift in MS3 working  as it should and thats on the winter list.

with the sheetmetal intake/65mm TB car made 502hp/554tq to the wheels @ 33psi. car is prolly down 75hp or so if i had to guess.

working on getting my 7163 setup,, do you use a turbo blanket? Custom fuel rail? I'm trying to run mine off a stock e6 with a t25 adapter. You think I can retain the distributor on e85 with bigger injectors? Also the German site you linked for the oil restrictor has $115+ shipping to the US, any other sources for those besides making your own? (which may have to be done if it comes down to it)

Obviously, I'm not Matt (onesillynotch) ~ BUT.........my understanding is that one of the reasons his combo works so well is b/c of the custom 1-1/4" tubing size of his special-ordered Boport header that promotes higher exhaust-gas velocity than the standard 1-1/2" tubing size. Soooo........the larger, unequal runner lengths of an OEM cast manifold will PROBABLY  yield less power potential compared to his setup. My 2¢.......  <shrug>

My goal is around 350, I don't need it too quick as a vert. Headers gonna eventually crack and they are like $1,000. I may get them if I don't like how it runs. Another thing I'm on the fence about is switching to coilpacks with the CAS or whatever.

I see no issue using a dizzy with a single plug head

Just planning for the worst. I figure it would probably smoke too. You shipped to the USA for $12? From the link you posted? All I see is ~$125 from Germany , DHL or UPS.

Do yourself a money-saving favor = fill the stock fitting with solder (silver solder, if stainless) and drill it to the desired restrictor size.  <shrug>
