To all who has installed the EEC Tuner in an LA3.

How did you make the tuner fit inside the computer?

I got the computer open and I am trying to fit it in but there just isn't enough room.

carefully push over a couple of the electronics parts to make room and it will fit,barley but it will.make sure the foam is on the back so it doesnt touch the case.

or you could go to a electronics parts place and get a smal enclosure to fit it in.thats the way i run mine now.

I am doing that as I am typing this. I really scared to bend the electric stuff, this stuff looks really delicate. So far I took off all of the nylon standoff's on the tuner and took off the long standoff on the LA3.

leave the stand off's on the tuner board. It will fit inside with them. If you pull them off you run the risk of the tuner board shorting out against the LA3 board..

I have done the same...bending the parts over. Just be careful and only bend them the very minimum you have to. And only the ones you absolutely have to.

Also, all I did was duct tape the EEC cover back on...It has been fine for 2 years.

WWWWWHHHHHHHHHOOOOOO!

Plugged the LA3 with the tuner into the car today and went for a ride. Everything seemed fine. Drove home and changed the base idle from 900RPM to 1500RPM and it worked. I am glad I got it to work. Thanks everyone for your help.
