Folvo cam timing
#21

I ran the numbers for the cam events I found on turbobricks and got 110 intake and 115 exhaust. Given that these numbers are likely for a NA engine do you think that Wes's numbers would be a superior starting point? Thanks

I don't think it makes a whollotta difference, Dennis......it's just a starting point and the two sets of numbers (Wes's & TurboBricks') are virtually identical.  <shrug>

I did an initial cam degreeing exercise today. It was without the lifters in place so I couldn't crash the valves by accident. I learned that with #1 at TDC both cam dowels up is close enough to assemble without crashing. In that initial condition #1 is at the top of the power stroke. I had to move the belt over one tooth on the exhaust to get the right spot.
I'll do a final adjustment after everything is together with sealant and the lifters.

NA verses turbo doesn't really consistantly affect this more than anything else. They also happen to be almost identical to what I suggested anyway. You can start the exhaust a little more advanced if you want, but I wouldn't sweat 2 degrees when you really need to just get it running a sweep it on dyno.
