This is an easy one! I say a good clutch!

I have seen impressive things with the tunner. I saw Gators car pick up 23-24 horse. I just think it would go a long way at fine tunning the combo's once they are too far away from stock to be able to correct with the stock computer. Besides, it will still give you adjustability for what ever you want to do next, and it is almost the cheapist.

Go for the cam or the tuner. It's a close call though, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices.

Well, seein' as how you were runnin' "way lean" on that last dyno pull with 78psi f/pres and brown tops - it had better be the EEC Tuner!! [Image: smile.gif]

Nitrous, nitrous, nitrous. lol
But seriously, I would get you these done first off boxed control arms, Subframe connectors, 3.73 8.8 rear. You have so much left in your combo now, 13.83 @103. I have ran in the 12's with 103. I would get it hook'n and scoot'n first. Do you really want to have tell everyone your 300 rwhp car runs mid 13's?

Later, and those are some kick @$$ numbers, makes me feel good to. lol

Thanks, I already plan on doing these mods first, Plus a WC t-5 and a star clutch. I am just trying to figure out what engine mod to do next.
So is it the computer that is holding me back now? I have been thinking about using a PK1 or something and an EEC tuner. I guess then I could try those 52lbhr injectors I just picked up(no going lean with these eh).
thanks guys! keep the good info coming!

I would go tuner first, as it will give you adjustability now and down the road. This then will let you know whether you need larger injectors or whatever. Cam and kit (roller preferred) next as you then can tune for the cam. Then rear end mods and sticky tires to hook up with. Adjustable rear shocks might help to dial in the launch and then adjustable front struts set at 90/10 to get weight transfer if needed. Why not gear for a 3.00 final ratio with the 5 spd overdrive. 5th ratio (.60 x 4.56=2.73 final ratio)(.60x4.88=2.93)(.70x4.56=3.19). My 86 TC with auto is 3.45 and gets 25 mpg. See ya later, Dale
