slash - I believe that the NATO article on the 3G upgrade covers the stock bracket mod in more detail.

Well guess what I am not understanding this surprise surprise. 3G 15G just not getting it I need a small case alternator like on an 81 Ford Courier 2.3 by the way with a serpertine belt drive for my pinto bracket. I am using big case GM Tuff Stuff ,100 amp, one wire, clocked at 12 and 6, alternator at the present time serpertine belt drive. And would like to have more real estate between the dizzy and the block. I have looked over a year now.......and really can't find anything I like. Can anybody help?
