For everyone else...

I think I just got it figured out. It seems that my USB serial converter isn't compatible with win10. What a phuckin crock. It's just a damn usb cable to serial port. I have a yellow triangle, code 10 next to my Prolific usb to serial converter in the device manager, and according to prolifics website that means mine won't work with win 10. phuckin bullschit. Why on earth would this not be compatible with win 10, what did microshaft change to make this not work?

Making some progress, if you can call it that. I found a driver package that allows the USB converter to work, and I now get "Please connect the device to the serial port and switch it on". It is connected to the port, and it is switched on so I guess it's more phumblephuckin around to get it to work....

I do not miss my innovate equipment one bit. It looked real nice in the trash can. If you decide that a change in in order, love my Zeitronix zt-3.

Picked up a Stock type O2 sensor. More than likely gonna sell the LM1, and all the tuning stuff I have. I haven't used it to it's potential, and I don't anticipate having time to continue fumbling around with it.

Prolific serial converters have been known to be problematic with the megasquirt crowd for some time. If you can find one that's based on the FTDI chipsets it will be much more "universally" supported.
