To add to Matt's suggestion, with spark retard/fuel cut for all rev limits (if tfi you can't do a hard cut), you should have no issues with lifter pump up beyond over rev (although it will be more sluggish and less consistant when you come out of the fuel cut).

Wes, I am still TFI. I just changed my launch control to fuel cut only per your suggestion on Stinger forum. My two limiters are 3700 and 3800rpm. I am using a Hurst shifter ball with a trigger button to activate the launch control so its all up to me as far as triggering it on and off. Dont think I could use the flat shift with this setup.

You can't. Its those crazy guys using a shifter button to launch (thats me too.)

Just curious though why such a low launch rpm?

I found one or two shop but shipping is horrible. much easier to cut it by CNC( it is not so complicated shape), just need an exact drawing or CAD files

if you can swing it, sell the T5 and buy a TKX. my TKX new was 2700 and i sold my T5 for 800. the T5s sell for a decent amont now

love my TKX behind the 2.3!

87 TC 5 speed at 220,000 miles, BoPort Stage 3 Head, 2.1 cam, 50 trim Turbo, Stinger Pimp, 3" exhaust, upper and lower ported manifolds, FMIC, 66lb injectors, 255 pump, 20 psi at 4K, 25 psi at 4.5k. Temp is 200 F and IAT is 122 F in West Texas Summer. Great freeway flyer on pump 93 gas.
