New turbo blanket - it's HUGE (??)
#1

Just got this DEI turbo blanket from Summit Racing.
Description says it's supposed to be for a T3 (part #DEI - 010172), but it's about 3 times the size of the housing.

What brand / part # have any of ya'll used for a blanket?

I have a Fireshield blanket that I got off Amazon for my .82 housing and it fits nicely. It makes a noticeable difference in heat. With the blanket on you can hold your hand over it and even touch it really quick without melting your skin.

I used a LEDAUT Titanium Turbo Blanket. I got it on Amazon it was under $30 shipped. The t3 was a little snug on my holset. It did get shredded a bit when my turbo gasket let go but was still reusable.

Did this one fit/form around the wastegate arm without interference...?

I'm using an external wastegate.
