Thermo is new Nigel :/ I removed the last one and watched it open and close on the stove pretty close to where it should have been per the thermometer. The current one has 4 or 5 heat cycles on it.

I was also thinking waterpump, it's only about 2 years old, 8k miles on it.

Some good news! Because the temperature is much more stable now, tuning has much produced much better results for power and appears to have helped my gas mileage out! I have a day off coming soon, I'll get a video posted then.

You have the ability with your PiMP to view the exact temperature, is there a reason why you still refer to temps by where it is on the (notoriously inaccurate) stock gauge?

But the stock gauge is right there in the dash where it can easily be seen with only glance.

I have been watching it on tuner studio, that's how I know it's 165 to 170.

I constantly stare at my laptop while driving

There is no reason to say it's at the "O" or "R" or whatever then, that info is virtually useless. Provide the actual temperature readings instead (like you did in some of your other posts).

Adjusting the point where warmup enrichment ends isn't really a band-aid unless you're dropping it to like 100F or something. It's 160F by default so lowering it 5-10 degrees isn't a big deal.

Well I have watched the temp on tuner studio and when it hits 190, the dash gauge reads on the 'R' where I would consider a 'factory' car would read.

But I could really care less now lol. I have a decent amount of time in my tune and it still wasn't very good. Now that the temp is stable, I feel like the auto tune polished it nicely in only a few 20 mile trips to work. Most importantly, no steaming radiator so far  .

I'm sure you understand it better than I do Shannon, it seems like the inconsistent temp didn't play well with the autotune. Car feels fast :burnout: now!
