PiMP Engine Management Systems (Made In The USA)

There are three different ECU's in the PIMP family currently available (PiMPx, PiMPxs, and PiMPxshift), all of which are MS3 (Megasquirt 3) based, plus one legacy version (PiMP) that was MS2 (Megasquirt 2/Microsquirt) based that we still sell parts, services, and accessories for but is no longer available new.

All of them:
- Use the same tuning software (TunerStudio) and datalog viewing software (MegaLogViewer) and a single software license works with all of them. This means if you already have any PiMP ECU and then buy a second one, you don't need a new license for the second one as the license is for the person, not the ECU. This also means you cannot transfer ownership of the license if you sell a PiMP ECU as that license is attached to you, not the ECU.
- Require a wideband o2 controller with sensor that has a 5v analog output to connect to the ECU.
- Are considered Plug and Play which means it can use the stock Ford harness and sensors. It does not mean you plug it in and drive away. You have to follow the installation instructions, install and configure the software, etc.
- Include a startup guide that gives you step by step instructions up to the first start.
- Include a base tune for your application/modifications. The base tune is not intended to be so perfect that you just drive away without tuning, though that is sometimes the case.
- Are supported via our Support Forum where you can provide us with a copy of your tune and a datalog of it running and we can analyze your files and help you tune it. Also on the forum are step by step tuning guides, a frequently asked questions section, etc. Note that all questions are answered by our paid support staff, not other ECU users.

How are they different:
PiMPx is the current "base" version. It's for batch fire EFI 83-97 Ford applications (exact years for different applications varies slightly, see PiMPx listing for exact years/models it works with). The only factory Ford applications that were NOT batch fire would be 85-95 V8 Mustangs and Mid 90's F-Series, Bronco, etc. that have Mass-Air V8's.
- PiMPx includes capability of controlling 4 low impedance injectors.
- PiMPx is NOT for factory sequential applications (85-95 V8 Mustangs -Both Speed Density & Mass-Air versions & Mid 90's F-Series/Bronco - Mass-Air Version only, it's for batch fire EFI applications only.
- PiMPx cannot be used with sequential EFI harness.

PiMPxs is the sequential EFI version of the PiMPx. It's for sequential EFI 83-97 Ford applications (exact years for different applications varies slightly, see PiMPxs listing for exact years/models it works with). The only factory Ford applications that were sequential EFI were 85-95 V8 Mustangs (Both Speed Density & Mass-Air versions) and Mid 90's F-Series/Bronco (Mass-Air Version only).
- High Impedance injectors only.
- Note that you can use a PiMPxs can be used for batch fire applications if the software is set to batch fire mode.
- If you have a batch fire application and plan to upgrade to sequential in the future then getting a PiMPxs now would make sense.
- Note converting a batch fire application requires more than just an ECU upgrade. It also requires modifying the injector wiring and for non-V8 applications it also requires our CAS or a crank trigger and cam sensor.

PiMPxshift is a PiMPxs from an engine control standpoint but adds tunable transmission control for E4OD, 4R70W, and AOD-E applications. It's for sequential or batch fire EFI 89-97 Ford applications with computer controlled auto trans (exact years for different applications varies slightly, see PiMPxshift listing for exact years/models it works with).
- High Impedance injectors only.
- Note that you can use a PiMPxshift can be used for both factory Ford batch fire and sequential applications.
- Note converting a batch fire application requires more than just an ECU upgrade. It also requires modifying the injector wiring and for non-V8 applications it also requires our CAS or a crank trigger and cam sensor.

Downpipes: https://www.stinger-performance.com/stor...-downpipes

I've now got the header downpipe available without a flange for you Holset guys. That's as good as I can do until I get a Holset myself or find another way to make a Holset style DP.

Are there any clearance issues with the compressor housing and valve cover using a turbonetics T04e-50?

Yes, it will clear with a super 60...I've got over 2" clearance with my 50 trim hybrid and the Holset guys don't have trouble with hood clearance (those are huge).

It appears the dyno info I posted on here has been removed from the system...I can't seem to find it. He made an extra 30hp and 40lb/ft at 25psi with my header over a ported E6 at 27 psi. He was getting ~15hp per psi on his setup so...
