I have 'donor' cars for my special cars, and I have an '84 GT Turbo 'vert parts car. :-)
Like the '86 SVO I bought years ago because it had a very nice set of front lights.
I tell people: "I bought a set of lights for $700 and got a free car with them"...lol

That's swell, Paul ~ BUT...... I think it's safe to say that most .TFers DON'T have spare 50-year-old parts cars that can be pirated! All I was suggesting is that the OP have a source for replacement glass before trying to cut out his current one and reinstall it with new "goo" (Urethane sealant). As said previously, I carefully used THE tool that professionals use and broke TWO windows at the J/Y, before finally getting one out w/o damage. <shrug>
