SC throttle body TPS....
#1

So I am in the process of replacing the stock TB with a SC throttle body and have a question on the TPS. My original TPS was adjustable for voltage, but the SC TPS is not and I have not found any online that are adjustable. Should I open the holes up so I can adjust or leave it as is? Car is also getting a new turbo at this time so I cannot see what the SC TPS gets me for voltage. Thoughts from those that have swapped over to the
SC Throttle body. Thanks

If the throttle voltage is never below 1.28 volts, then the Turbo EEC-IV will never detect a closed throttle. If the Turbo EEC-IV does not detect a closed throttle, then the Turbo EEC-IV will never do idle speed control. A minimum throttle voltage below 1.22 volts is preferred so that a closed throttle can be detected.

The Turbo EEC-IV initializes the minimum throttle voltage to 1.22 volts. From 1.22 volts the Turbo EEC-IV will reduce the minimum throttle voltage down to the minimum throttle voltage that is observed. If the minimum throttle voltage is above 1.22 volts, then the Turbo EEC-IV will use 1.22 volts as the minimum. When the throttle voltage is 0.06 volts above the minimum voltage then the throttle is no longer closed and is assumed to be partly open. With a minimum voltage above 1.28 volts the throttle will never be closed.
