94,95,96,97 cobra rims are all the same

As for the Rs why don't they work, too wide?

The SVO has the older style hub that has a larger diameter and protrusion than the newer 5 lug hubs. Thats why.

You could upgrade to SN95 spindles & rotors & do it that way or have the rims machined to clear the rotor hub. I have seen an SVO running the bullit wheels. Check out this link: http://www.svpu.com/svo.html
They had to do mods.

Im running cobra R 17x9 on my 84 SVO with 255x40 tires. I suggest you run the car at its stock height.

I'm running 17 inch 95 cobra wheels. They really change the look of the car and let the brakes run alot cooler. There is no question that these wheels will work on your car, but I do have rear wheel scrape over bad bumps and if I back up and turn the wheels sharply the front tires scrape. It is only a slight problem, but I think it is worth it to have the look. My car is not lower, but if it were, I think that I would have more of a problem.
