Think i was getting old
#1

well i was thinking i was getting old  and my car was to loud . so i took off the  two magna flows  i had on my car and put a stock muffler on it it was quieter and i was thinking it had good power just slower spoolup. time .after a few hundred miles i knew the power was down and slower spoolup .so this time i put on a bigger as in  longer, magnaflow and a resonator . and now it is fine power is back  and just as quiet as with muffler. so maybe i am not getting to old. i will be 64 years old in oct. and car will be 91 years old.     off the line and from 60MPH to 90MHP. the 29, is as fast or faster then my mazda MX5 . THANKS.

You're never too old! I'm 69 and still searching for that extra HP. My wife knows when I get home in the SVO, she can hear me coming down the driveway. The driveway is .2 of a mile long and she says she can hear me when I pull in from the road...lol

I'm surprised that Paul hasn't rejoined this thread and put forth one of his lame "Geritol" references!   Wink

54 here. I don't get out from under the car near as quick and easy as I used to, lol.

I also find my myself sitting down in the shop to take a break more often these days.

So glad I installed A/C in the shop years ago. Makes working on the bird tolerable.
