Time to move on, truck is for sale
#1

I have had my fun over the last 5 years with this project, I've decided to hang it up and move on to hobbies I am much more involved in. A gracious donation to be made to Paul if it sells here, have it listed on FB pages as well.

Beautiful build, GLWS. Are you moving on from the 2.3?

Yes, moving on entirely. It's been a lot of fun, learned a lot. However my primary hobby has me interested in an Italian Mistress. I have 5 other bikes, oldest is showing its age and needs a replacement-

I just realized that I neglected to mention modifications on the craigslist ad. Hopefully I cover most of it here:

Stock bottom end, recently got a main/rod bearing and ring "refresh". has the DIS crank pulley on it with sensor if you wanted to do DIS or coil near plug. Head ported following Tim Ottinger's tutorial, comp 942 springs and Esslinger .490 lift cam. Adjustable cam gear. Inline lower intake, custom box upper with new 65mm mustang throttle body. Exhaust header is a pipe log header with T25 flange, for the EFR6258. 3" turbo to tail, with a dynomax muffler on it and removable test pipe with catalytic converter.

Wideband is a Zeitronix, and Innovate gauge.

MS2 with electronic boost control, set to 18psi at this time. I have two compressor housings for the EFR, the standard housing and the 90 degree forward facing outlet.

Most everything in the truck has been gone through, very little "old" factory stuff left as I wanted reliability so things like the starter and alternator are a year or two old tops. Clutch is a 6 puck stage 3, holds plenty of power. Tires, brakes, wheel bearings, ball joints, etc all new within the last 12 months.

I know the TF crowd is not big on car audio, and I am not really ready to let go of all that equipment just yet so if someone was interested in the truck sans stereo, I'd put generic door panels back on it and pull all the stereo stuff out- and take $1000 off the price. Would come with the Pioneer media player hooked up to just the dash speakers.

Nice truck! you should post pics of the door panels- I didn't see any in the ad- also update the ad with current pics. Im into audio but not when a box takes up half the bed Sad .

Did you ever track it to see what it can run?

Yeah, need to update a few pics since a lot has changed over the last few years. last time it was at Bandimere, was MANY performance steps before its current condition and ran mid 14s at altitude and a ranger roller cam and the original t3 .48 turbo.

I've had a few tire kickers show up locally but no serious interest.

Dropping the price to $4800 as is, without any of the audio equipment in it.
