Either one will give you more flow than you`ll need. It`s really a personal matter of looks or maybe cost.I`m a dual pipe fan myself.Go w/a non chamber muff,3in d/p & everything will be everything.
Alot of shops still think the N\A way, that you need some back pressure to help the engine to scavenge better. What they don't understand is that Turbos create there own back pressure. I was told by a shop that my 86 TC only needed a 2.25 single system to perform well, and he wouldn't give me a quote for the 3" because he wouldn't build it. Didn't want to be responsible if I came back claiming he messed up my car

what about running 3 inch duals. wouldnt that be better than 2.5 duals and around the same neighborhood as 3 inch single? or is that not good. i have been thinking about this setup for a while tell me what you think. -Matt
well the only reason I did 2.5 from the cat back is because the exhaust man i went to said that he wouldnt be able to get it over the axel of my SVO. I wasnt too worried, still got it all done for about $275 that included everything.
time starts now
I ran 3" no cat and the no good flow master.
Just for the sound of course. no pipe back just a turn down right off the muffler. Sounds great.
